Completed in 1972 by American Bridge, the Girard Point Bridge is a 9,324′ (2,842m) two-level steel truss bridge on I-95 over the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. Erected using balanced cantilever methods, it features 31,348 tons (28,438 tonnes) of structural steel fabricated by American Bridge.
