Completed in 1951 by American Bridge, the Gateway Towers 1, 2 & 3 project consisted of the fabrication and erection of three cross-shaped office towers. Two of the towers were 20 stories high, and one was 24 stories. These towers became part of the Gateway Center complex, a significant development in downtown Pittsburgh. The project required the precision fabrication of structural steel and expertise in high-rise construction, contributing to the city’s architectural landscape.
