Completed in 2015 by Southland Contracting, the Gateway Stormwater Ponds Tunnel Project consisted of the construction of approximately 580 linear feet of 96-inch diameter liner plate tunnel with 592 linear feet of 72-inch reinforced concrete (RCP) carrier pipe installed beneath IH10 connecting two stormwater ponds. Grouting of voids on the exterior of the liner plate and grouting of the annular space between the carrier pipe and the casing.
