Completed in 1940 by American Bridge, the Galbraith Bridge project consisted of a thirteen-span bridge over the Mississippi River between Rock Island, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa. The structure includes five tied arch spans—three measuring 391 feet 5 inches and two measuring 533 feet 9 inches—along with eight deck plate girder spans.
