FDOT Hurricane Emergency Work – Sebastian River Bridge Slope Repair

Completed in 2004 by Johnson Bros. Corporation, FDOT Hurricane Emergency Work – Sebastian River Bridge Slope Repair project included repairment of the approach slab on the Northbound lanes washed out and shut the road and bridge down. Additional scope included driving sheet piling on both sides of the road and placed forms between the piling under the bridge, then cut holes in the roadway and poured 162 cubic yards of flowable fill to shore up the roadway. Then repaired slope and rip rap rubble revetment under the bridge revetment.
