Completed in 1964 by American Bridge, the Equitable Life Assurance project consisted of fabricating and erecting a 35-story office building, measuring 193′ x 116′ x 457′ high, along with a 41′ basement and plaza area. The structure featured welded box columns and welded “H” columns.
