Emsworth Dam Gate Replacement

Completed in 2002 by American Bridge, the Emsworth Dam Gate Replacement project involved removing and replacing a vertical lift gate, including its operating equipment. The scope included installing a new 100′ long gate with a 100-ton weight, a new hydraulic operating system with computerized controls, and revisions to existing piers and machinery buildings. The gate was fabricated by Oregon Iron Works, and the operating system by Rexroth.
