Completed in 2024 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the East Side WTP Water Quality Improvements Flocculation and Sedimentation Basin Improvements project consisted of modifications to existing stages I, II and III flocculation and sedimentation basins. Scope of work includes demolition of existing floors, modifications to the effluent weirs and launders, installation of piers, new basin floor and walls, new electrical enclosures at each basin, extension of flocculation area, relocation of electrical and instrumentation equipment, relocation of existing circular clarifier equipment, replacement of existing circular clarifiers, replacement of existing flocculation equipment, plant and yard piping, and site work.
