Completed in 2012 by Southland Contracting, the East Side Interceptor Replacement Project – Phase II Project consisted of the trenchless installation of approximately 2,160 linear feet of new 54-inch interceptor sewer, construction of launching and receiving shafts, connecting to the existing terminus of the East Side Interceptor Replacement Project – Phase 1, connecting to the existing 36-inch East Side Interceptor at the new sanitary structure #208, connections to SCO 005, utility relocation especially those at shaft locations, notification to the City and Engineer of utility conflicts, and all other activities related to the trenchless construction.
