Completed in 1949 by American Bridge, the Dravosburg Bridge project consisted of fabricating and erecting a 13-span bridge crossing the Monongahela River, including a three-span main through cantilevered truss with a suspended center section, a 556′ deck girder approach span on the McKeesport side, and 7 x 11′ + 2 x 96′ girder approaches on the Dravosburg side.
