Rehabilitation of two twin suspension bridges. Scope of work included replacement of 32 suspender ropes at 16 tower locations, temporary truss support utilizing steel jacking frames, installation of angle and plate diaphragms in 64 internal tower cells, installation of 16 steel plate and angle brackets, and replacement of steel gusset plates. Additional work included installation of 16 new access platforms with handrails and galvanized grating, floorbeam tie, plate, truss and bracket repairs, tower floorbreak stringer repairs, and miscellaneous painting.
