Crown Bay Pier Expansion and Mixed-Use Center

This design/build project involved the expansion and total reconstruction of the Crown Bay facility. Work included installation of 1,400LF of HZ 775C wall using AZ13 steel sheets, all tied back, the addition of about 95,000SF of pier area, renovation of about 70,000SF of existing pier, installation of an oil-water separator, lighting, water lines, and other utilities, installation of 14 new Seaguard fenders, placement of about 36,000SF of scour mat, construction of a new 14′ by 220′ excursion craft dock, 45,000CY of dredging, reconfiguration and construction of rip-rap shoreline and hardscape walkways, construction of eight themed retail buildings aggregating 57,000SF including parking, hard and landscape and site infrastructure.
