Completed in 2008 by American Bridge, the Cross Seminole Trail Bridge over U.S. 17-92 was a design/build project featuring a 698’ pedestrian/bicycle bridge with a 208’ serpentine steel truss main span. The truss was assembled in the highway median and lifted in one pick during a nighttime closure. The project included 1,204’ of trail, MSE embankments, cast-in-place spans, architectural finishes, and landscaping.
