Container Yard Shoreline Protection Works

Completed in 2012 by American Bridge, the Container Yard Shoreline Protection Works project involved rehabilitating a 390m shoreline at an operating container port in Freeport, Bahamas. The work included excavating and installing core material, armor stone, and a concrete curb with a crash barrier and fence. The shoreline protection consisted of 700mm thick underlaying stone and 2,100mm thick cover layer stone, with asphalt paving to match the existing pavement.
