Completed in 1916 by American Bridge, the Coaling Stations, Cristobal and Balboa project consisted of constructing coaling stations, including viaducts, transformer houses, bridge diggers, unloading towers, wharfs, and bunkers, as well as a viaduct and transformer house at Balboa.
