Clairton Towboat

Built in 1918 by American Bridge Company, The Clairton towboat was a bid toward the modernization of the Monongahela River towing and got off to a poor start. She arrived in Pittsburgh September 9, 1918 prepared to do great-guns and on the night of October 14 lay sunk at the Pike Mine near Brownsville.
