Completed in 1964 by American Bridge, the Chicago Civic Center project consisted of fabricating and erecting a 31-story office building measuring 261′ x 145′ x 631′ high, with architectural exposed COR-TEN steel and smooth ground welds. The project also included fabricating and erecting the Picasso structure in the plaza in front of the building.
