Central Business District (CBD) I-20/59 Bridge Replacement

Completed in 2021 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the Central Business District (CBD) I-20/59 Bridge Replacement Project consisted of the bridge replacement on I-20/59 from the I-65 Interchange to North of the 31st Street North Interchange, and construction on Interchange E.B. Stephens Expressway. Scope of work included interchange modifications, grading, drainage, base work, paving, retaining walls, streetscape improvements on 9th Avenue North from the intersection of 15th Street North to the intersection of 23rd Street North and Cross Streets (15th Street North through 25th Street North). Total length of construction was 3.584 mi.
