Bronx Whitestone Bridge Rehabilitation

Completed in 1991 by American Bridge, the Bronx Whitestone Bridge Rehabilitation project involved replacing 12,000 feet of reinforced concrete roadway deck, including stringers and floor beams, rehabilitating the stiffening girder anchoring system, replacing tower deck hinge pins, installing roadway joints and bearings, and adding inspection platforms at the towers and anchorages.
