Bridge No. 30 US 421 over Snow Cut Phases 1, 2, & 3

Completed in 2013 by American Bridge, the Bridge No. 30 US 421 over Snow Cut Phases 1, 2, & 3 project involved rehabilitating a 2,060′ bridge in Wilmington, NC. The project included steel and concrete girder repairs, overlaying decks with latex modified concrete, and hydro-demolition of deteriorated slabs. Work also involved structural steel repairs, cleaning and painting, substructure repairs, replacing bearings, jacking spans, and paving approaches. Additional tasks included installing joint seals, concrete median, and final landscaping.
