Completed in 1998 by American Bridge, the Boeing Delta III Second Stage Test Stand project involved constructing a 37′ steel test stand for rocket assembly, including platform articulation, painting, and concrete work. Due to space constraints in Building AO, the stand was built externally on a temporary foundation and moved inside using a custom air cushion jacking system with just 1″ clearance, ensuring a perfect fit without damage.
