Completed in 1995 by Mole Constructors, the Bluestone Contract 2 project involved the construction of a tunnel stretching of approximately 14,250 linear feet to accommodate 66-inch concrete pipe. Excavation was carried out through shale rock at depths ranging from 35 feet to 50 feet.
