Blount Island Marine Terminal Wharf Reconstruction

Completed in 2016 by American Bridge, the Blount Island Marine Terminal Wharf Reconstruction involved demolishing a pile-supported wharf and building a new 1,285 LF marginal wharf. Work included driving 950 concrete piles, installing cast-in-place caps, precast deck slabs, crane beams, and marine furnishings, along with electrical and mechanical upgrades, a switchgear building, paving, lighting, and fencing.
