Completed in 2013 by American Bridge, the Port Manatee Berth 12 Wharf Extension and Container Yard project involved extending Berth 12 with a 590 pipe/sheet pile bulkhead, fender system, concrete cap, and asphalt paving. Additional work included mechanical dredging, trench drain installation, rip-rap work, and the construction of a 10-acre container storage yard.
