Completed in 2009, the Becker Road Extension project consisted of the accelerated construction of the 4-lane widening of Becker Road extending from the I-95 Interchange, east to Tacoma Street. This project was completed in 183 days to accommodate the opening of the interchange. The construction included over 1 mile of roadway, 10,500 feet of drainage, 195,000 cubic yards of pond excavation in 5 ponds, and utility relocations.
