Completed in 2005 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the Bayport Capital Improvements project consisted of approximately 8,300 linear feet of 36-inch waterline. Approximately 2,200 linear feet of tunnel with 54-inch liner plate. Installation of 6 manholes with 36-inch butterfly valves and associated appurtenances. Installation of associated block valves, air/vacuum valves, fittings, encased crossings, coating and cathodic protection.
