Completed in 2004 by Southland Contracting, the Bachman Water Treatment Plant Hydraulic Improvements Raw Water Pipeline Project consisted of the excavation of approximately 1,475 linear feet of 112-inch tunnel for the installation of 72-inch Prestressed Concrete Cylinder raw water pipeline by other than open cut. Tunnel was installed under roadway, railroad track and Bachman Creek.
