ABM fabricated, painted and tested three each auxiliary buoys (ASB’s) and two each tow-out lugs. The total weight is approximately 45 tons. ASB’s are low pressure vessels about 10’ diameter by 26’ long with air and water calve assembles and internal ballast components. The tow-out lugs are heavy plate weldments similar to padeyes with bolted doubler plates. Operations provided shop drawings. OPT’s PB150 wave energy device (provided by another company) required three mooring buoys and two towing lugs to support deployment and operation.
