mpleted in 2025 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant Outfall project consisted of constructing a waterline outfall from the treatment plant to Ward 32 Beaches in East York, which is located approximately 2,500m to 3,500m off-shore extending vertically. Scope of work includes one 14m ID launch shaft approximately 85m deep on-shore at the treatment plant, 3,500m of 7m finished diameter tunnel, and 50 risers of 1,000mm ID with ports of 830mm ID (to be constructed in-line with tunnel at equal spacing along 1,000m long diffuser section).
