Completed in 2011 by American Bridge, the Arawak Cay Port Development involved transforming a former industrial site into Nassau’s main cruise, container, and bulk shipping port. The project included 2,500LF of sheetpile bulkhead, 1,200LF of crane rail and concrete apron, two ro-ro docks, an 8-million-gallon water storage tank, and 150,000CY of dredging. Additional work included fencing, drainage, ro-ro ramps, and crane support beams.
