Dehumidification (rehabilitation) of main cables and anchorages. Scope of work included dehumidification system installation with a buffer chamber to house the equipment, installation of pipe to deliver dry air from the mechanical space to the main cables, structural rehabilitation, sealing the cables with elastomeric wrap, sealing cable bands, erecting temporary work platforms, and replacing all cable band bolts. Additional work included replacing stanchions and 5,200 linear feet of hand rope using in-house engineering.
