Completed in 1985 by American Bridge, the Aero propulsion Systems Test Facility at Arnold Air Force Base was a $307 million wind tunnel test facility. American Bridge handled the structural construction, including the assembly and erection of 6,915 tons of steel plate and ducting, plus 1,992 tons of support towers and 900 tons of platforms, ladders, catwalks, and stairs.
