Completed in 2007 by Southland Contracting, the 98th Street Roadway & Drainage Improvements Project consisted of installing approximately 8,395 linear feet of 48-inch tunnel for 24-inch pipe and 250 linear feet of 60-inch tunnel for 36-inch pipe by Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM). Included 16 shafts; eight of the shafts were of the following depths: 43 ft, 46 ft,46 ft, 46 ft, 46 ft, 44 ft, 40 ft, & 42 ft.
