Our Leadership

Frank Renda

Mr. Frank Renda serves as CEO of Southland Holdings and all closely held companies.  Mr. Renda grew up working in the family business at a young age with his father and uncle throughout the summers up and until his graduation from Texas Tech University.  Upon his graduation, Mr. Renda returned to the family business full time. At that time, the company was a local utility contractor with around 100 employees and annual revenues of $20,000,000.  Project by project the companies were built through the hard work of dedicated employees and willingness to build all types of challenging projects, wherever they may be located.  Through natural progression and acquisitions, Southland Holdings is now a company working nationally and internationally with around 2,000 dedicated employees, over $600,000,000 million in annual revenue and current contracts exceeding $1,800,000,000.  Southland is currently 33rd largest heavy civil contractor in America, according to current ENR rankings.

Rudy Renda

Growing up around his father Rudy Sr. and Uncle Oscar’s construction firm, Rudy can remember being on job sites from the age of three, learning from some of the best and hardest workers in the business. Like his cousin Frank, he joined the firm in 1990 as a field supervisor and has been a vital part of the company’s ownership and growth through the creation of Southland Holdings, LLC and it’s many acquisitions including Southland Contracting, Inc., Johnson Bros. Corporation, Renda Pacific LLC, and the Canadian operations.

Tim Winn

Mr. Winn began his construction career in 1991 working on a survey crew for KSA Engineering in Longview, Texas.  After graduating from Texas Tech University with dual degrees in Finance and Economics, he joined Frank and Rudy Renda at their family’s business, Oscar Renda Contracting, Inc.

As Oscar Renda Contracting, Inc. was growing into the leading Texas based provider of Water and Sewer infrastructure, Mr. Winn took on the first large scale out of state project and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina.  Early successes in the mid-Atlantic region provided Oscar Renda Contracting with opportunities in new markets.  These markets quickly spread to Arkansas and Georgia, where multiple projects where completed with great success.  Today, Oscar Renda Contracting is a leader in Water and Wastewater infrastructure construction throughout North America.
