Scope of work consisted of site civil/structural construction of a new state-of-the-art, integrated coal gasification, combined cycle (IGCC) power plant.  This project occupies about 2,800 acres and was completed in 28 months.

Scope of work included moving 15.5 million CY of muck and earth, dewatered millions of gallons of water daily, cut and fill for plant areas, construction of temporary and permanent berms, water ponds, seeded and sodded entire area to complete the site and reclamation of wetlands east of SR-37.

Additional work included poured 32,000 CY of concrete on footings, tank foundations and liners for plant storage tanks, underground ductbanks, fuel oil storage area concrete and earthwork, instrument air compressor foundations, flare foundation, power block equipment foundations, pipe rack foundations and steel erection, cooling water intake structure concrete, installed 63,400 LF of grounding and underground piping, built outfall structures, gasification structure foundation and structural steel erection to 85 ft above grade, coal handling and coal grinding area foundations, wastewater treatment area civil and underground electrical utilities.
