Completed in 1990 by Mole Constructors, the Hilltop Interceptor Contract G project involved approximately 12,000 linear feet of tunneling, with Monolithic concrete lining. A modified Lovat 157-inch / 164-inch Tunnel Boring Machine was used for excavation through shale rock at depths ranging from 100 feet to 225 feet
