Completed in 2010 by Oscar Renda Contracting, the Central Regional Wastewater System: West Fork Relief Interceptor, WF-11B Project consisted of the construction of approximately 5,988 linear feet of 90-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe, 5,162 linear feet of 84-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe, 3,818 linear feet of 78-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe, a siphon beneath the Trinity River consisting of 441 linear feet of a 30-inch, 42-inch and a 48-inch diameter sanitary sewer, two junction boxes, two siphon boxes, six sanitary sewer meter stations and appurtenances, and drainage improvements, Including the replacement of 45 linear feet of an existing 54-inch reinforced concrete storm sewer along with the construction of 155 cubic yards of concrete drainage flume. Erosion control structures consisting of gabion baskets and mattresses, concrete beams, drilled piers and tiebacks will be constructed at the storm drain outfall and along 1600 linear feet at the downstream end of the project. Scope of work included, clearing, grading, excavation for pipeline installation, structural concrete placement, rip rap placement and final restoration.
